Where to Look for Jail and Court Information

For local jail custody, start with the Grand County Sheriff's Office Detention Facility at 670 Spring Street, Hot Sulphur Springs, CO 80451. The sheriff's mailing address is P.O. Box 48, Hot Sulphur Springs, CO 80451. The main office phone is 970-725-3343, the jail visitation/contact extension is 970-725-3343 ext. 3, the fax number is 970-725-3227, and non-emergency dispatch is 970-725-3311. Public counter hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., holidays excluded.

Sheriff's Records Division requests may be submitted by email to records@co.grand.co.us, by fax, or in person. A photo ID copy is required. Requests are generally met within three business days, though additional research can take longer. Published fees include $15 for a standard incident report first hour, $10 for standard audio/body cam/photos first hour, and $47 per hour after the first hour.
